To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
The writer here by experience has come to a realization that No Condition is Permanent. This must prepare our minds and give us a cause to rejoice and place our faith firmly in God who holds all things in His Almighty hands.
The text enlightens us to an infinite variety in life and time to enjoy and learn from more bitter experiences. There will be killing time and healing times;war and peace; laughter and tears, mourning and dancing; love and hate; scattering and gathering.
Can you imagine what life would have been without the combination of the above?
It is worth noting that everything (seasons and times), will surely come to an end one day. You will not be sad forever and you will not be happy forever.
Psalm 31:15 points to the fact that times and seasons are in the hands of God who loves us too much ever to allow anything to happen which will harm our eternal salvation.
Beloved, God will never make a mistake, He is a wise, righteousness and faithful God. What are you going through now? Don’t kill yourself, don’t allow circumstances to kill you, don’t be sick because of the messy situation but rather be HOPEFUL and encouraged; it won’t be long, it will be over very soon. My Dear,
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5.
May the Good Lord abide with you in your times and seasons. Remain blessed.
