TEXT : 2 SAM. 22:31-41
The Bible text for our reflection this morning is a song sang by David to the Lord when he was delivered from the hands of his enemies and from the hand of Saul.
David faced a lot of threats and traps from his enemies but through it all he sought for God’s will in that particular situation.
In most cases David will surrender into the will of God with a willing heart saying, ” Lord, I totally trust you. I deny myself and I’m totally available to you. Thy way not mine oh Lord but yours.”
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU MAKE SUCH CONFESSIONS when you encounter a difficult situation.
Trust in the Perfect Will of God
David was victorious because he trusted in the perfect will of God. When you are confronted with any challenge, do you succumb to the perfect will of God or you develop your own strategies?
Beloved, the only safe place is in the center of God’s will. It is not only the safest place. It is also the most rewarding and the most satisfying and victorious place to be.
” as for God, his way is perfect: the Lord’s words is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him….It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.”
2 Sam. 22: 31-33
May God’s perfect will grant you victory in all your difficult challenges. The Lord is with you.
